Owned and operated by Bridie, Clodagh and Tracy, The Fox has been proudly run by the trio for over 18 years. With decades of collective experience in Melbourne’s hospitality scene, they’ve poured their heart, humour, and hard work into shaping The Fox into the welcoming community pub it is today. Having worked side by side for nearly two decades, their friendship and shared love for genuine hospitality are at the heart of everything they do.
Inclusivity sits at the core of The Fox. With deep roots in Collingwood and Melbourne’s queer community, it’s a space that celebrates diversity and welcomes everyone exactly as they are. The team takes pride in creating a safe, comfortable, and open environment where all guests can relax, connect, and enjoy themselves.
Our menu reflects the same philosophy. We offer an extensive range of vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options, because we believe everyone should be able to enjoy good food.
The building itself has just as much character as the people in it. Originally built in the late 1800s, The Fox has stood through Collingwood’s many transformations, from its industrial beginnings to its creative revival, always remaining a cornerstone of the neighbourhood.
Today, it’s home to rotating food specials, local craft beers, and one of the most-loved spaces in Collingwood.
